It's definitely... SHIOK!

I've heard much about SHIOK!, a small resto in The Fort serving Singaporean/ Malaysian cuisine. A lot of raves about this resto and being a lover of Asian cuisine, I was eager to try it out last May.

We ordered just a couple of dishes from their menu and here's our review... :)

Soy Hainan Chicken Rice (P245)- My sister ordered this and really loved it.. We've been looking for a resto serving good chicken rice and this one can be on the list! Flavorful and uber worth it the price. Although my sister was hoping they'd have a version where the chicken is roasted. (too bad I wasn't able to take a photo of this.)

Milo Dinosaur (P55)- Due to the hot summer weather, my sister chose this drink to cool her down. We were choosing between this or Milk Tea, but finally decided to just get this one. It's ice blended Milo topped with more Milo powder! Chocolatey goodnes... thumbs up!

Char Kway Teow (P120)- This was my order. It's thick, flat rice flour noodles stir-fried in dark soy sauce with prawns, eggs, beansprouts & fish balls cut into strips. It's so filling, I ate just a little more than half of the whole order.. you get a big serving for that price. Not bad! They're gonna ask you if you want it spicy or not... but of course, for me.. the spicier, the better!

Would definitely go back to try out their other dishes.. I hope they'll have kaya toasts available soon! Haha!

For those interested with their menu, here it is...

Thanks for sharing this... super bihira ako magpunta ng the Fort, and I think most food places are quite posh. :) Thanks, too, for putting pictures of the menu, now I have an idea how much their food is.

My Yummy Sunday post is up HERE.
