I love coffee and I was so excited to try this Coffee Toffee Roca pie from Banapple...

It's composed of different layers-- chocolate graham crust, biscuit, coffee jelly-like layer and coffee flavored whipped cream topped with toffee bits and almonds.
Bud sadly, it didn't meet my expectations. The coffee flavor was good but the biscuit (I think they used
otap) and coffee jelly-like thing didn't work. The different layers didn't complement each other.

They should've sticked to coffee flavored chiffon cake which would probably taste better... Hmmm, probably this isn't something I'd often crave for even if I'm a coffee lover.

dj: yah, banoffee nalang. sana nga I tried the apple crumble instead. well, i have 1 slice left in the fridge-- it's the Goblin Pie, their new cake for Halloween. Hope it's not disappointing. :)
gemini & vernz: it does look good and since it's coffee flavored, i was so eager to try it. sadly, i wasn't so satisfied with this particular cake. :(
