Yes, I admit-- I am a coffee addict! My mornings ain't complete without a cup of coffee. May it be hot, iced, black, flavored... it doesn't really matter. I also love anything coffee-flavored. From coffee buns, cookies, cakes, ice cream, and a lot more.
My love for coffee made me so excited to try out this cake from a friend which she bought from The Chocolate Kiss Cafe, the
Kahlua Butter Cake. I love their
Devil's Food Cake so I'm expecting this other cake will not disappoint me.
... And I was right!
As described in their
website, the Kahlua Butter Cake is
"the full-flavored coffee liqueur mocha butter cake with Kahlua fudge filling and coffee butter icing." The description alone made me drool.
I SHOULD taste this!
The mocha butter cake balanced the taste of the coffee butter icing and fudge filling making it not too sweet (I think if the cake itself was chocolate, it will be sweeter and more, errr... sinful?). Even the icing itself was so yummy (oh no, calories.. LOL! but who cares, it's worth it)!
Coffee addicts should definitely try this one. If I get a chance to drop by Chocolate Kiss Cafe, I will definitely buy this again. Now this cake is already on my favorites list. :)

@smarla: we live far from choco kiss. too bad! :( i seldom get to go there nga e.. ive been ordering devil's food cake lang always! haha... ok rin carrot cake but i prefer it with choco frosting like the one in Chocolat. good thing a friend gave me this, na-try ko. sarap pala. haven't tried the dayap cake...
