Another Starbucks discovery: Fruit & Nut Toast

I saw this first in Starbucks' Facebook fan page and it really got me interested to try it. It reminded me of Baguio Country Club's Sovital Bread (one of my favorites) which had walnuts and raisins! I'm really more into sandwiches and bread so this is definitely a must-try for me.

This kinda looks like wheat bread with some nuts & dried fruits (I'm guessing it's raisins?). An order comes with 2 slices, honey and strawberry jam. The slices were big but not so heavy on the tummy. I think it's not bad for P50/ order.

I asked the barista to have it slightly toasted. I enjoyed spreading honey on top of the warm, soft bread and it's actually my first time to try using honey as spread. Surprisingly, I liked it! I just wish the bread itself will have more nuts and fruits. I like it crunchy!

Hope they'll have this on the regular menu... perfect for those wanting to have something light and yummy (and guilt-free?). I wanna buy one to-go and try it at home with peanut butter. I bet it's gonna be good!

Ohh, it's been a while since I ate bread. That's really cheap for P50 only ha, I'll order that next time I find myself inside SB.

Cheesecake and doughnuts are the ones usually available to the Starbucks I frequently go to so I rarely tried any of their pastries or breads. It's a steal for PhP 50! I'm actually a CBTL fan. Have you tried CBTL's brunch sets?

That looks really good! That's the reason why I asked my husband to buy me a bread machine as my Christmas gift because I want to be able to make some homemade fresh bread and I can put nuts and all kinds of good stuff in it. Knowing that I made it, it's a lot securing because I know who made it. :)

I too love to use honey as a spread on top of a warm bread rubbed with butter. Yummy!
