Starbucks' Sicilian Baked Fish on Rustic Italian Bread

I was craving for a sandwich for lunch and was tempted to try one of Starbucks' new sandwiches-- Sicilian Baked Fish on Rustic Italian Bread.

Nothing could be simpler or more delicious than a baked white fish topped with Sicilian tomato sauce and melted creamy cheddar cheese on a soft crusty Italian bread.

As I read the ingredients, I was delighted to find out that it has no mayonnaise! Yipee! OK, I will should try this!

This sandwich is yummy! The cream dory was tasty and perfectly topped with tomato sauce with a spicy, tangy taste (oh, I love anything spicy by the way). It also had some veggies mixed with diced potatoes inside. Mmmmm, they definitely didn't scrimp on the filling! The barista heated the bread quite well so it wasn't tough to eat.

Perfect to have this if you're hungry since it can really make you feel full. You can share with someone too if you're having it as a snack. It's only P140... not bad, huh! :)

Hehehe... I "accidentally" had this for lunch yesterday. I ordered for the Turkey Chicken Tuscan but the barista gave me the wrong sandwich. So I got two sandwiches that day. :)

Happy Food Trip Friday! Hope you can also visit my entry here.

It's been a while since I last went to Starbucks. I'm on CBTL mode because they have free WiFi. TeeHee.
I miss it sometimes though.

Sometimes I don't let them heat the bread because they have the tendency to be soggy inside when heated. More often than not, I eat their sandwiches cold. I'm weird like that. :D

mauie: luck you!! :P

chubs, clarissa: try it!

maiylah: price is worth it :) speaking of, i just had the fruit & nut toast today. i asked that they don't toast it.. still good!! im addicted it it! sana may 1 whole na loaf bread nun. LOL

diane: me too, i eat their sandwiches cold.. :D i rarely ask that they toast/ warm it since the bread becomes a bit tough to chew.

luna: havent tried their sandwich in Seattle's Best :P
