Guinataang Halo-Halo

One of my favorite Pinoy merienda from Via Mare-- Guinataang Halo Halo. But today, I had it for breakfast instead.

This will only cost you P85 but you get a hefty serving of taro, purple yam and sweet potato in coconut cream. It also has my favorites of course, banana plantain, jackfruit and bilo-bilo (glutinous rice balls).

I ate it straight from the fridge and it's better than served hot. Heavy on the tummy, not a guilt-free food but definitely worth every calorie. Nice to have this as a once in a while treat so we still can keep watch of our weight. LOL. :)
