The Gigantic Pie from Banapple

It's only the second time I tried Banapple's Cheese & Mushroom Pie. I suddenly craved for one yesterday so I thought of buying from Banapple again.

Although it increase its price to Php75, it's still as big and stuffed as before. Since I love mushrooms, I like how this pie tasted however, weird that it has a bit of "nakakaumay" factor after I ate it... probably coz of too much cheese? I dunno.

I still cannot finish the whole thing... I think I never will! It's just so huge, just half of it makes me feel so full (and bloated) already. I shared the other half with my sister since it'll be the first time she'll try it.

Have you tried this kind of pie? Where do you often buy your savory meat pies? :)

Entry for this week's Food Trip Friday and Food Friday.

That huge meat pie looks delicious! I haven't tried anything from Banapple because I don't see a branch near us. I hope I get the chance to try some of their wondrous treats. Happy FTF! Here's my entry: http://www.delightmyappetite.com/2011/08/food-trip-friday-chelsea-market-and-cafe/

That looks delicious! That types of pie are common here in New Zealand but the bread looks so different, and I think I would prefer that instead

Kaya lang parang ang kapal kasi ng tinapay kaya filling. Parang mas gusto ko pa rin mga pies sa Conti's.

Their pies are really meant for sharing. Whenever I order this, I can only half; the other half for breakfast. :)
