Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake

This new Starbucks cake especially offered for the Holiday season is just so cute. I cannot resist the temptation to try it! 

I bought a slice yesterday and had it for breakfast this morning... paired with a cup of brewed coffee.

The cake has a layer of dark chocolate mousse with chocolate chip cookies and a giant chocolate chip cookie as base of the cake. They serve it warm and topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle when you have it for dine-in.

Since I had it for take-out, I didn't have it warmed and it didn't have the whipped cream and caramel drizzle topping. But nevertheless, I'm still giving this a two thumbs up! I'm not a big fan ouf mousse but tI kinda liked the dark chocolate mousse layer of this cake. It wasn't too sweet either. My favorite part was the cookie layer at the bottom! I hope it was thicker than the mousse layer. Haha! =)

Next  on my list is the Molten Chocolate Cake and Snickers Cheesecake. Oh no, good luck diet! :P
