But I've read somewhere that this tasted good (sorry I forgot what online forum I read it), so upon seeing it in the grocery, I grabbed a pack which has 10 packets. No harm in trying; I like anything sweet anyway.
Upon opening the pack, the aroma was good... it really smells like ensaymada! As I took a bite, I was impressed. This didn't taste like the other buttered toasts or biscocho sold in the market. It wasn't too sweet and tasted really creamy and buttery!
It reminds me of the ensaymada sold in the neighborhood panaderia. I guess it's best paired with coffee or hot chocolate.
For sure, I'm buying another pack when we go to the grocery. Cheap but really good snack!

o i love butter cream crackers, but wasn't aware that they now have that ensaymada flavor!!! I hope I could remember to grab a pack the next time we go to the grocery's.
