First time at Chatime

I'm so happy that Chatime finally opened a branch near my area. Another reason to be happy is that they have an opening promo which started yesterday. Order a regular drink and get it upgraded for FREE! Wow, that means I pay for a regular cup but I'm gonna get a large cup of milk tea. Coolio!

My friend and I went there yesterday morning to try it and avail of the opening promo. Who doesn't love freebies anyway!

I was having a hard time to choose which to order. The menu had lots of items on it. My sister tried Chatime before and she liked the taro red bean milk tea. Since I love taro and red beans, I just chose to order the Taro Red Bean milk tea coz at least I know it's good (based on my sister's feedback).

This drink is taro flavored milk tea with tapioca and red beans. Since I don't like pearls that much, I asked if they can just replace it with additional red beans. They gladly agreed, yey! :) I'm expecting it to be sweet as is already so I asked for 0% sugar and no ice.

I liked the taste of the taro milk tea. It's creamy but not too thick nor watery. I found it a good choice to ask for 0% sugar too. It's already sweet as is. The red beans added a different but complementing flavor to my milk tea. Yum yum!

I guess this one's a very good discovery. The size was really big, it made me so full afterwards. I managed to just eat it with Skyflakes for lunch. My friend ordered Taro Pudding milk tea which she approved as well. She totally loved the pudding and kept on raving about it.

I'm really not a big fan of milk tea. But everything else I like. As compared to other bubble tea shops, I like their Formosa Oolong the best. ^_^
