Luk Yuen

It's my first time to actually eat in Luk Yuen. My family often love Chinese food but we frequently go to North Park, Luk Foo or Gloria Maris since their branches are more accessible to our locations. I was about to have lunch alone yesterday and I was craving for noodle soup despite the sunny weather. I passed by Luk Yuen and saw that only 2 people are dining in that time. I decided to eat here so I don't need to wait for a long time since there were only a few customers.

I ordered the CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP (Php150). It's basically noodles with chunks of chicken with soup. While waiting for my order, they gave me a complimentary plate of crispy chips which I didn't get to taste anymore.

Few minutes later, my order arrived. I started devouring on my noodle soup while it's still piping hot. I liked that the soup was not oily. The chunks of chicken were also big, meaty and didn't have skin (so less fat too). The noodles were cooked well; not too tough nor soggy.

Of course, my meal won't be complete without the chili oil too.

Glad to have tried Luk Yuen! I guess I'll be coming back to this restaurant again.

Chinese seems the default choice for my family since my parents aren't too adventurous with food. I'm going to try Luk Yuen soon. :D
