Vitamilk Choco Shake Soy Milk

I was never a milk drinker even when I was a kid. First, because I just cannot take the taste of plain milk, and also because it usually makes my tummy hurt.

However, I heard lots of rave about Vitamilk Soy Milk. They said it's good for lactose intolerant people plus it tastes good too. Good thing they have a chocolate flavor available so I was encouraged to try.

Now... I'm addicted to this! :) Love the cocoa taste especially when it's super cold. Yummy and healthy drink indeed. It's better to buy it in groceries coz they sell it cheaper (Php20.50 in Landmark) compared to convenient stores selling it at Php25.

Have you tried it already?

I seldom drink milk because I'm lactose intolerant, too. I'll check this out when I do my grocery shopping today. Thanks for sharing!

Naku, mahirap maging lactose intolerant. Hindi mo ma-enjoy yung mga dairy products. It's good that you found this soy milk.

Ako hindi ko pa nasusubukan uminom nito.

@sumi: i liked it din!!

@michy: try it, masarap :D

@food dude: yes!!

@ishmael: i think I can tolerate milk but super konti lang. i hate the taste of plain milk also... but if mixed with coffee or other food, okay naman basta not a lot of milk talaga.

@anney: agree!

Like you, I was also lactose intolerant. But that was before we moved to New Zealand, where fresh milk is more the norm than powdered milk. I found that I can take fresh milk, and the taste is a lot different from powdered milk. My case might be the same as yours, although I guess fresh milk is more expensive in the Philippines.

Really? So lactose intolerant people can drink this? I have a friend who is. I'll tell him about this :)

My boyfriend loves this, too... and in one of our dates, he bought a bottle at 7-11 para lang matikman ko and malaman ko how good it tastes. Hindi ko masyadong nalalasahan ang soya flavor, so overall this is a good drink, sabi ko nga nung una, lasang chocolait!

I'm lactose intolerance too...I prefer powdered milk better though. I would like to try this one...the label doesn't look like a choco shake...just kidding!

Soya milk is quite yummy :) I think those who don't like the sticky after feel of milk, will like soya milk's light and cool texture :)

that's why i seldom buy any drinks at convenience store, far higher than supermarket price. must be nutritional drink.

i haven't tried that brand yet, but i used to drink loads of soymilk while i was still in college (EONS ago, lol)...it was processed there and so very accessible and cheap. i miss sipping soymilk during snacktime...will see if i can find this brand.

thanks so much for sharing over at Food Friday, sis
