I've been hearing raves about this sandwich so I got interested. I've seen this even before in the stores but I was hesitant to try it coz it's mayonnaise-based pesto dressing. I never liked mayonnaise so I was thinking twice whether to try it or not. But since I wanted something new a while ago, I opted to buy it...
Roasted Chicken Pesto and Shiitake Mushrooms on Flat Bread
Juicy roasted chicken breast fillet with aromatic pesto mayo sauce and Shiitake mushroom topped with melted Emmenthal and cheddar cheese on grilled flat bread.
I made the right choice 'coz I liked it even if the pesto sauce is mayonnaise-based. Hmmm, probably because the dressing has more pesto than mayonnaise. Plus it they didn't scrimp on the chicken and mushroom filling too. Yay!! Have it warmed but not toasted. Another tip also is you gotta eat it right away or the flat bread tends to become a bit tough to chew. :)

i've never tried any of starbuck's sandwiches. it's always frappuccino and belgian waffle for me. but it looks delicious. the pic reminds me of another fave, shawarma.

Starbucks is offering more snacks now, which I think is good. At least now when a friend asks me to meet her at SB, I don't have to always go for the frap. :)
I haven't tried that sandwich I love the bacon and cheese sandwich. It's so delicious because it has 7 kinds of cheese in it.
this is a super duper duper super favorite namin at starbucks. almost never went there for the coffee... but more for this sandwich talaga. :)
The sandwich looks YUM. Just the right amount of mayo probably is the trick :-)
