I know you've heard about all the raves about Slice Cafe's cupcakes. Me, being a sucker for sweets, cannot let this pass. I have to try them. Thank God my cousins came over last month and bought some for us.
Choco Yema
This is the most popular cupcake in their menu. Well, after trying it out, I know why everyone's raving about it. The choco cupcake was moist and that yema topping isn't too sweet. Nice!
Chocnut Butter Cupcake
I love peanut butter so no wonder this is my favorite! Choco cupcake + peanut butter icing + Chocnut = HEAVEN! Nevermind the calories.. this is so worth it. Definitely, it's love at first bite.
Oh My Ube! Cupcake
Ube is something I also love. Though I'm not a cream cheese fan, I didn't hesitate to try this. It was good but I found something lacking on the ube cupcake itself. I think I'll like it better if the cupcake would taste like
ube halaya.
Aside from sweets, they also offer healthy dishes. After the first time I tried the champorado, I promised to try the brown arroz caldo next. So I did.
Love the nutty flavor from the brown rice. I felt so full afterwards but without the guilty feeling. I knew I was eating something healthy anyway. The chicken and egg was also flavorful and complements well with the arroz caldo. This is something I'll surely order again.
Two thumbs up for Slice Cafe! :)
15 shout-outs:

I really really love Slice!!! Besides the great food and nice ambience there, it's really close to my heart. Pardon me for bragging, my husband designed the logo for Slice.

I super love their Choco Yema cupcake too! You should try the Chocolate Cake from Shoppersville along Katipunan. Their moist chocolate cake has yummy yema filling in the middle :)
