Popcorn has always been one of my "happy" foods. I don't like those that you'll pop using the microwave though; I prefer Holy Kettle Corn (sweet & salty or BBQ flavors) or Chef Tony's Popcorn! Whenever I pass by their stalls, it's so hard to resist the temptation to buy at least the smallest tub or bag of popcorn.

Chef Tony's has been one of my favorites ever since it was introduced in the market. Since I love nuts too, I easily fell in love with the Roasted Almond Mochaccino and Dark Chocolate with Almonds. They recently launched a special flavor for the Holidays. Introducing the Peppermint Mocha popcorn!

I was so excited to try this so I bought a small tub (for Php99) the other day and kept it in the fridge first. I didn't open it yet so still was crunchy when I ate it a while ago. I split it into half since a small tub can be too much to consume in one sitting (now, I still have the other half in the fridge and will eat it tomorrow).

Although this didn't have nuts, I loved the minty taste mixed with the mocha flavored popcorn. Good thing the minty taste isn't overpowering! Would have loved it even more if it had nuts... *teehee* :)

This reminded me of Starbucks' peppermint mocha drink. Hope Chef Tony's would make this a regular offering already and not just for the Holidays. I'm still hoping they'd have something like a peanut butter- flavored popcorn soon. LOL!! |

It's been months since I've bought a Chef Tony's popcorn. I'm craving bigla tuloy. What are their other Christmas inspired flavors? I don't think I'll like mint in my popcorn kasi. Thanks! :P
