Part of the new breakfast and promotional food items they launched last week was the French Toast. I wonder how this tastes like since it's getting both raves and rants from those who've tried it. OK, I guess I just have to try it myself to judge.

I ordered it for lunch and surprisingly, I liked it. The bread was thick and really filling, but it was not as sweet as I expected. They serve it with maple syrup and extra butter but I wasn't able to use it anymore since the sweetness of the toast itself was enough for me. Good that the barista toasted it just right so the bread remained to be buttery and moist. It smells good too!
I think I'll order this again when I crave for one.. but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that I'll see my Fruit & Nut Toast back in Starbucks again SOON!!

michi: i finished 2 coz i was a bit hungry during lunch yday. i didn't get any drinks also. 1 slice can be enough if i wanted a snack or im still a bit full & wanted a light lunch :)
wah! i haven't been to starbucks lately.. i want to try their french toast too as well as their creme brulee frap!

i didn't know fruit & nut is phased out already mas mura pa naman yun compared to french toast hehehe. i like french toast too. heavy na solve for brunch na cya :)
that looks burnt. so dark kasi yung pagkaka-toast. lol. but oh... i can hear the crispiness. sure, it made me want for one! lol

I hope they have this anytime of the day. We seldom visit Starbucks in the morning. We always go there at night and most of the time, paubos na ang mga coffeee companion food.
