Wild Mushroom Cream Pasta and Tuna Omelette

Met up with a friend again for quick lunch in Brew-Kus. We wanted to try something different but we're not so hungry so we decided to just order one pasta to share.

Wild Mushroom Cream Pasta

A cream-based sauce with mushrooms, prosciutto de parma and truffle oil.

I'm not really a fan of cream-based sauces so I found it a bit hard to appreciate. Yes, it's delicious but then I'd always prefer something that is oil or tomato-based. My friend who loves white sauce said it's so good! Serving was really big.. definitely something for sharing.

Since I wanted my sibling to try something from Brew-Kus too so I decided to bring home an omelette for her.

Tuna Omelette

3-egg omelette filled with potatoes, green beans and tuna. It is served with hashbrowns and toast or herb rice.

Since I'm bringing it home, I opted to order it with rice (I was worried the toast and potatoes won't taste good once I reach the house a few hours later). My sister liked this when she had it for dinner. She just ate half of it with rice since it's so big and very filling. She gave the other half to mom. Her comment though is it was kinda oily, but thumbs up coz they didn't scrimp on the fillings.

I'll definitely be back there.. I still have a mission to try the sinful stuffed toasts and griddlecakes! :)
