Azuki (red bean) mochi...
Imagine this... Japanese glutinous rice cake filled with red bean ice cream. HEAVEN!! The mochi was soft and chewy, and the ice cream was simply delicious!! Oh my god, please give me some more!! I'm hooked. =)

love azuki mochis! discovered them at a bakery in LA's Tokyo Town - reminiscent of Salazar's or DEC's sticky rolls with mongo beans.
do they still have Dreyer's mochi in Manila?
there's also this ginger mochi that i love.
