S'mores Pie from Banapple

Banapple always has new cake releases during special holidays like Halloween and Christmas. For this year, they have the Hallow Mallow S'mores Pie especially for Halloween.

Quoting the description on their Facebook page... "This season, the hallow mallow smores pie makes its way out of the Banapple cauldron! This is a hauntingly toothsome mixtue of gooey toasted marshmallows, chocolate fudge, glazed grahams, roasted almonds, graham whipped cream, all on a crookedly crunchy Oreo crust." The description alone makes you crave for one.

I got curious about it so when I had lunch with friends, we decided to order one (to share) plus a slice of banoffee pie. True enough, this cake didn't disappoint. We all loved it! I personally am not a big fan of mallows but I don't know why I liked this cake so much. I loved the big marshmallows sandwiched on layers of graham crackers, chocolate fudge and lots of almonds. Even the whipped cream on top was delicious (wow, you know I rarely eat the cream on cakes and I just scrape 'em off!). We were too excited to eat that I wasn't able to take a picture of the cake when it was served.

Because it was really good and I was a bit bitin coz we shared one slice, I decided to buy two more slices for take-out-- one for me and the other one for my family to try. Glad my family liked it too! I wish they will keep this on the menu even after Halloween.
